Therapy & Counselling
Evidence-based therapy for teenagers and adults, in person in Delhi NCR and online worldwide. Structured, paced to you, and grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Therapy here is not advice, and it is not a lecture. It is structured, collaborative work — understanding the patterns that keep you stuck, and building the tools to change them. You leave with more than insight. You leave with something you can use.
Areas of focus
A racing mind, a tight chest, a sense of dread that arrives without an invitation. Whether it shows up as constant worry, panic, social fear, or health anxiety — CBT helps you understand the thoughts that feed it, and build reliable ways to interrupt the cycle.
Some things that happened long ago still shape how today feels. Whether a single event or something woven through years — including intergenerational patterns — trauma work here is paced with great care. Never rushed. Always on your terms.
When conversation has turned to conflict, or two people have quietly drifted apart. Couples work focuses on the patterns beneath the arguments — how you communicate, how you repair — rather than on who is to blame.
The teenage years can be genuinely turbulent — anxiety, low mood, academic pressure, questions of identity, friction at home. Sessions are adapted to meet a young person where they actually are, building trust before anything else.
Burnout, difficult transitions, performance anxiety, and the slow blurring of who you are with what you do. Work stress is real stress — and it responds well to structured, practical therapeutic work.
Intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and other complex or severe presentations. Shubhra works with evidence-based approaches for OCD, and — where medication is part of the picture — works alongside your psychiatrist, not in place of them.
A word on the work
Each person arrives carrying something different, and walks a different distance to set it down. Therapy is not a course you complete — it is a process you move through, session by session.
Progress is real, but rarely a straight line. Shubhra will give you an honest sense of the road early on, and walk it beside you — at the pace that is right for you, not the calendar.
Your psychologist

“Therapy isn’t a magical sermon. It’s a personal journey each person walks at their own pace — while I walk beside them.”
